SENIORS OVER 65 NYE LUNCH
The New Years Eve Lunch for our village seniors was once again a resounding success even though numbers were down due to holidays and health.
Ouir guests celebrated the coming New Year with welcome drinks, two course roast turkey dinner (or a vegetarian alternative), wines, cheese and biscuits, port and after dinner mints. All free, lovingly served by the Kingswood Village Association and Friends with the help of the Kingswood WI (Womens Institute). Superb entertainment with songs from Elvis, Roy Orbison and Cliff Richard.
Many thanks are due to Kingswood Spar Shop for storing turkeys, to our resident Elf Mike and to the kitchen staff of Leyhill Prison for cooking the meal.
